Only a couple of days before the year ends. If I had to choose a word to describe the good, the bad and the ugly of 2016, I’d go for ‘colourful’. Much of it was many-hued, vibrant and beautiful; but there were also too many moments and times when the world went from psychedelic to muddy brown and back, when everything was black or white and we were left with dark forbidding grey. Here is to 2017 – may it be happy and colourful, but most of all, humane!
